The Unintended Consequences of China's Demonic One Child Policy

China has had the One Child Policy for over 30 years now. I don't know if they still got it. Every time I go to China I see more and more two and three child families. But that little law they brought in thirty odd years ago, that disrupted the world and turned China into a demonic country in most peoples eyes, could be the reason China is heading for superpower status. A lot of people talked about the ratio of old people to young people and how one young person was going to have to look after two parents and four grandparents. And so far all that has managed to do is start up a new industry. Now you hire someone from the village to live in your house and look after your parents, grandparents and your kid. Some of the off spring from the one child policy who are now married do this. But the unintended consequences have turned the big cities in China into some of the safest cities in the world. Most of the problems that plague modern cities just don't exist in China cities. There is no graffiti, no street gangs, no street kids no drugs and no drunken teenagers behind the wheel. But the best unintended consequence is education. China has or will soon have the most educated population on the planet.
